Surnames: Kinsey, Gray Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XY.2ADE/377 Message Board Post: I am looking for the missing link between my grandfather, Wharton Kinsey Gray (b. 10/18/1896 in Colorado), and what I am certain must be Kinsey forebears. I have found records for Wharton Joseph Kinsey (b. about 1840 in Illinois) and an association in a probate index between him and a Nellie Gray in Denver, CO, in the 1890's. I feel certain the names are too unusual for this to be coincidental. W. K. Gray married Harriet Taylor Brace and was also known as "Uncle Bud" by his wife's nieces and nephews. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated.
