My great grandfather was William Mortimer Swallow, and I'm sure he is one of the men in the photographs - just not sure which one yet, as the photographs I have of him are when he was much older. Both he and my grandfather (and his brothers) worked in various mines around Gold Hill. I'll send copies to my aunts and I'm sure they'll identify him. What a wonderful resource, though.
