Her mother Joanna Corbin died when Luella was about 5 yrs old then her father Harriaon Fletcher Orvis married Susan McNitt. I wonder if in the letters you have it mentions anything about Luella Montana (Ella) and her husband Hiram Randolph Jones. I show them listed in the 1880 Sugerloaf, Boulder Co., Colorado census and her other siblings are listed also. Her sister Ida married George Washington Williams.
