Phebe Emily MOREDICK (b 1840) married William B. HOUGH (b 1835 Ohio) 20 Jun 1861 in Ohio. Have not been able to find William's parentage. He had an older sister named Sarah. They claimed their father was from England and their mother from Virginia. Phebe Emily was from Belmont County. They moved to Appanoose County, Iowa briefly in the 1870s then to Boulder, Colorado before 1880. William B. died in Boulder at age 70. Do not have Phebe Emily's death date yet. Children: James Willard HOUGH (1862-91), Tabitha Emily HOUGH (1863-98), Charles Magee HOUGH (1864), Mary Alice HOUGH (1865), Robert Malligan HOUGH (1870).
