She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Wray, to Leo G. and Nora A.E. Burns Devlin. She grew up in Wray and attended Colorado A&M (now Colorado State University) in Fort Collins. She moved to Albuquerque, N.M., where she met and married William G. DeLisle on Oct. 22, 1952. She was secretary for the Colorado University Housing Department for 27 years. She retired in 1994. She lived in many locations where her husband was stationed during his career with the U.S. Army. She moved to Longmont in 1964. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a woman of deep faith. She was a Eucharistic minister and active in her church. She was very devoted to her family and proud of her family heritage. She enjoyed reading, camping and her roses. Mrs. DeLisle is survived by her husband, William G. DeLisle of Longmont; a son, Stephen J. DeLisle of Loveland; two daughters, Doreen DeLisle and Nancy Powell and husband Randy, all of Longmont; a brother, Timothy C. Devlin and wife Marie of York, Neb.; five sisters, A. Aileen Tombaugh, Mabelle F. Meadows, and Marie E. Jennings, all of Denver, Leo Noracq M. Stokes of Loveland, and Alice Anne Pilkington and husband Willard of Longmont; six grandchildren, Bill Gamble and wife Danielle, Beth Looper and husband Evan, Grace Powell, Seth Powell, Hillary Powell, and Patrick De-Lisle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont. The family will be present to receive friends. Rosary prayers will be led by Marie E. Jennings at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 323 Collyer St. in Longmont. Celebrant will be the Rev. Brian Morrow. Burial will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Share the Vision Fund or Boulder County Hospice in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry St., Longmont, 80501-5440.
