I've been doing this off and on for 25 years and I can't begin to repay the help and favors I've been given. I saw your earlier post and didn't find anything. Just to be sure I've just rechecked and nothing on those names. There are a lot of Allen's in Boulder Co but I didn't find any mention of those names or of any Allen/Alen/Allan/Allan in Lafayette. All were Valmont , Boulder or Longmont. Which just means they could have moved but it makes me suspect that yours arrived after 1900 (as far as the abstracts go). Wish I could have been of more help.
