As you were there, once, you probably know that there’s quite a good reconstructed ‘goldfield’, with all its appurtenances - my grandchildren adored it all, at ages 8-10. I cannot envisage myself ever visiting YOUR Balarat - I am not as agile as once! And, let’s humbly state it, a year ago I thought of Colorado as a desert. I did not know about the umpteen fourteeners, etc! See what a geographical motivator family history can be . . . Lois
