    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XY.2ADE/393.1.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Lois, Good to hear from bleak, foggy Canberra in the wintertime. Although we're not directly related, I have James Arthur Burch in my genealogy. He married Margaret Griffiths and they had six children. James Arthur Burch's father and mother, William Wallace Burch and Roxy Jane Carter, are buried in the north Hygiene, Colorado cemetery next to the Church of the Bretheren, an old, 1879 Dunkard church (row 7, plot 41). Frank Henry Burch and his wife, Nellie Maria Cochran, plus other offspring of William Wallace and Roxy Jane Burch are buried at Hygiene. I met Frank Henry about 1954 in Boulder, although at the time I had no idea that we were related. I was twelve and he was about eighty. I am aware of the "most interesting" Burch-Nichols genealogy and history of which you speak. Please send me your e-mail address and I'll send you a rather long narrative that describes a story that goes back to 1630 and the Massachusetts Bay Colony. (Didn't quite make it back to the Mayflower!) The narrative is far too long for this communication and would lose some of its necessary formatting by inserting it into this document. The narrative, which I wrote, summarizes the pertinent part of the story that one of my cousins and I have obtained from several Internet and other sources. Pearl, Cari, and any one else who wants this information too, you may send me your e-mail address and I'll copy you. I'll be in Boulder, Colorado in the next two weeks and will probably stop by the Hygiene cemetery where my great grandfather is buried. I'm still trying to figure out where, but -- according to family tradition -- "It's in the Burch plot." If anyone would like a copy of the Hygiene cemetery records, please furnish me with your postal address and I'll send a copy. This record was on the Internet but the address I have no longer works (http://spot.colorado.edu/~wasson/northtxt.html.). Best wishes and thanks for the reply.
