Gurule of Longmont died June 13, 2003, at her residence. She was 76. She was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Louisville, the daughter of Alex N. and Alexandria (Brecamontez) Gonzalez. On April 24, 1954 she married Sam Gurule Sr. in Camfield. She was a lifelong resident of Boulder County and had lived in Longmont since 1959. She is survived by her husband, Sam Gurule Sr. of Longmont, son Sam Gurule Jr. and wife Tami of Loveland, and many other relatives. Visitation will be held 3-6 p.m. Tuesday at Lewellen Longmont Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 323 Collyer St., Longmont, with the Rev. Brian Morrow as celebrant. Interment will follow in Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
