We were together very breifly while I was there, but I would like to get in touch with you to explain some things that happened and the reason they did. We had one magical night together that I will never forget for the rest of my life. You are a tall woman about 5' 11" - 6' in height, dark brown or black hair. My name is Mike Peters and I have not forgotten about you ever since I was stationed up in Great Falls, MT which is where I still live. I desparately need to find you in hopes of getting back together after all these years or at least a chance to explain what happened and why I had to break it off so abruptly. If you happen to come across this posting please call me at (406) 727-9827 or email me at jamboxmike1@bresnan.net. You had a female friend that you shared an apartment with and was always with you when you c! ame to the dorm to visit, but I cannot remember her name. One time you and I, your friend and a friend of mine from the base all went on a one day venture to see the sights of Denver, we went to the zoo and some other places, then we went to Red Rock and finally capped it off at your apartment. If you or any of your friends know of these details that I am describing, please get in touch with me ASAP. Sincerely, Mike

I contacted a person and they were quite helpful. They have the burial records, even the ones w/o any headstones. They were not connected with the property around the cemetery at all. I was able to get and pass on the info about the Walkers. The hardest part was finding the darn thing the 1st time I went looking for it. LOL Thanks, Frank

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XY.2ADE/841.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I have a William H. Walker, b. 10-8-1837, d. 2-11-1935. Does this sound like the William you are looking for? You may have this information already. In the same cemetery there is a Wayne R. Walker, d. 1935, aged 10 yrs. I am looking at a cemetery listing for Valmont, ca. 1940. I remember being in the Valmont Cemetery some years ago, when I could still get to it. Now, you have to go through private property that is owned by the Valmont Butte Corp. to get to the cemetery. It is a private road, and the gate has been closed for a long time. There are "no trespassing" signs at the entrance. Maybe you can get permission from the corp. to go to the cemetery, I haven't asked them. The cemetery is located on a hill just east of Boulder, on Valmont road. Hope this helps. Best of luck in your search.

I know a little but not much so any help would be appreciated. Here is what I know so far: Father: Delbert Matzen Uncle: Christian Matzen Grandfather/Grandmother: Frederick J. & Myrtle Matzen Great Aunt: Mildred Keefe(? Not sure if it was O'Keefe or just Keefe) Great Grandfather: August Matzen I am not clear whether my great grandfather had any siblings or not. They were supposed to have immigrated from Denmark but everything I trace back on the name comes from Germany so the family may have started in Germany and along the line moved to Denmark. I have an old family bibler that is Danish and I hear my Great Grandfather spoke it as well. This is fun!

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XY.2ADE/849.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks. I have downloaded the census page from two sources and zoomed in and zoomed out and compared letters. When the ink bleeds into the paper, running letters together, it's tough to make a decision. I did find out today that Benjamin C. Sharp died in Boulder on 1 Mar 1912. Hopefully there will be an obit in the Boulder Camera or some other source listing his wife and something about the cause of death. This was before the state began doing death certificates, and it was the county's job to record the death. Do you know what records exist and where they are for Boulder?

Benjamin and wife were not married in Colorado. As far as his wife's name. I "believe" it is Nora F. If you look at Mary right below, the census taker makes the "r" in the same manner. At first I thought it was Mona, but, changed my mind after look. "Own income"? Who knows? I just believe that he was doing whatever it took to get by. There is a Nora E. Sharp that married in 1917 in Colorado. No Nora F's. No others that might seem to fit any spelling of that name. Do you suspect that Benjamin passed away in Colorado? Frank
