Yes, they came to Longmont later than your resources -- about 1912, by voter registration records. I'm hoping to find a death record of some sort - Lottie, at least, was still living in 1961. Thanks!

One is : "Boulder County, Colorado / Marriages, Anniversaries, Divorces, Births and Birthdays / 1859-1900 / Newspaper Abstracts / Mary McRoberts / Boulder, Co/July 1991" Another is : "Boulder County, Colorado / Deaths and the Insane / 1859-1900 / Newspaper Abstracts / Mary McRoberts / Boulder, Co / July 1991" And : "Genealogical Abstracts from the Boulder Daily Camera / 1891-1900 / Boulder, Colorado / Mary McRoberts They only go up to 1900 and not all newspapers from that period survived. But I didn't find anything for any Moats or Rimer. That makes me believe they were from another county (or even state) and moved to Longmont between 1900 and 1920. Good luck, David

In the Boulder directories they appear in 1905 but then in 1906 she appears as (Wid) widow? If this truly is a different John Lindenmeier who died I want to find out. I suspect he deserted her at that time? If someone has access to Obits or death records for this time frame I would appreciate a look up.

Wendy Hall is the branch manager and is always ready and willing to assist. Her whole staff is very knowlegable and one has even written a carefully researched book about the mine and miners of that area. You can write to Wendy at HallW@boulder.lib.co.us
