Looking for info on Civil War veterans named Coble who served with the 87th Pennsylvania Infantry, a regiment mustered in York in September 1861. Three of them - Abraham, Christian, and Ephraim - were brothers, the sons of Peter & Mary Crist Coble of Washington Township, York County. I am not a descendant but an historian who seeks nuggets of history not available in the standard locations.
