I heartily agree with Jean's recommendation for posting documentation of sources. I have posted a request in several venues on the internet for primary source documentation for the Kobel/Koble/Coble lineage prior to the eighteenth century. There are several quite detailed descendant charts starting with Albrecht Kobel (1385-1440). However, none give primary sources. I have been unable to track down the authors of these charts and have a very uneasy feeling that we are copying the records of others without regard for primary sources. I am convinced that it is there, that it is real, and that it is significant. There can't be that much detail about someone from the fifteenth century without him being of some distinction. "Where's the beef?".........Thanks!.........Larry Coble
