I think the problem is you have the wrong John. I have the Johannes Gobel that you referr to as Probate Nov 1815 died in Guilford County, NC. and he was married to Maria Barbara and he had a son Martin and his daughter was married to Elisha Bennett. The John Coble who married #1 Catherine Moretz, #2 Margaret, #3 Mintz did not have a son Martin. Lacy, Is this what you have?
