I mentiioned this to Samuel KIME and although he said he was looking into it, I never heard back. +++++++++++++++ There were A LOT of similarities in the two families a) Fathers were both named "Christian" born within a year of each other in Guilford Co., NC b) Both wives were called SALLY/SALLIE. Although Barbara Sally Shearer had a different first name, she was called SALLY according to information I received from a researcher. c) Both families had children with overlapping dates of birth-- were they twins or were the birthdates incorrect? I actually had Joshua born in 1822 instead of 1824, but here again, I have done NO independent research on either family so have received material from others researching these lines. d) Both families had family members who "went West" to IL (and beyond?).
