    1. [COBLE] Albrecht KOBEL
    2. Dear Kobel and Coble researchers, I have reviewed my Kobel/Coble notes and found two references to Albrecht Kobel that were posted previously on the KOBEL list. On 16 May 1998, Priscilla a list member, posted several articles from _John Waymire Papers_ under the heading, COBLE FAMILY OF AMERICA. It begins with Albrecht KOBEL born near Wenger Alps, Switzerland. This line continues through his son Bartholomaus of Ulm, Germany. I am not familiar with the Waymire Papers, so I cannot recommend the source. Is there anyone on the list who can? On 14 Jan 1999 Chip Coble (Chip2256@AOL.com) , a Kobel list member writes: Albrecht KOBEL born ca 1385 Wenger, near Jungfrau Mountains, Switzerland. Died 1440 in Ulm, Germany, Parents and wife unknown. To read these post in their entirety go to the archives. Type in KOBEL, click on the year these were posted. I'm not sure of the search engine for the archives is fine tuned enough for it to actually search the exact day, month and year these messages were posted. http://searches2.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl Good luck! And please keep us up to date on your findings. Jean Kobel and Coble list manager

    1. [COBLE] Coble Family Newsletter
    2. Jannine Coble Gregory
    3. I publish a Coble Family Newsletter 4X year, the year running from July-July. The newsletter is 12 pages and the cost is $15.00. I started this newsletter to try and get the Coble/Kobel researchers together to try and figure out the great puzzle. I need articles for the newsletter, stories about your family, family group sheets, querries, obits, births anything you would like to have added to the newsletter. We have connected lots of cousins with this. I try and put into this publication documented facts about families. Please if you would like to include your family, please let me know. This is not my newsletter, this is for all the cousins out there to try and help each other. Thanks Jannine Coble Gregory

    1. [COBLE] Information
    2. Jannine Coble Gregory
    3. I would like to make a suggestion to people that are looking for other researchers to help them 1. Please give as much information as you have on the family you are researching. 2. Please give us a time frame. i.e birth date, death date, etc 3. Please give us a place to reference to. Place of birth, census records etc. In this and all families, the names are the same; so we have to have a time or place reference. I have lots of data on lots of families in the surname and I want to help anyone, but when you send out a query that says: I am researching John Coble that married Mary Jane, can anyone help me, I don't have a lot to go on. Thanks for all your efforts in trying to get better queries up on the list. Jannine Coble Gregory

    3. I would be most appreciative if you would share the results of this documentation. Have just recently began this branch of the family. So far things are going pretty well thanks to all the generosity of my fellow cousins. Thanks to all. Linda
