Looking for info on Civil War veterans named Coble who served with the 87th Pennsylvania Infantry, a regiment mustered in York in September 1861. 1) Coble, Abraham B., Cpl Co H; mustered Sep 19, 1861; discharged Oct 13, 1864; born June 21, 1847 (1843 also reported but is incorrect); died Nov 27, 1911; a farmer and blacksmith from Washington Township; 5' 1" - 4", black hair, blue eyes; enlisted at the age of 14 but claimed 19; son of Peter & Mary Crist Coble; brother of Christian and Ephraim Coble; married Susan M. Hartman January 19, 1867, at Franklintown; children: John W. (b. 07/27/67), Mary A. (b. 04/11/71), & Carrie E.
