Henry Coats b abt 1780 North Carolina, maried Nancy Davis, 28 Feb 1827 Boone Co., Missouri. They had the following children: Sarah b 1829 Boone, MO; Hardin b 1833 Boone, MO; Susan Ann b 1835 m Robert Coats 8 nov 1853;Elijah b 1837 Boone, MO; Catherine A. b.1939 Boone, MO; Elizabeth b 1842 Boone, MO; Isabella b 1844 Boone, MO; Harriet b 1844 Boone, MO; Sally Ann m James Gipson 27 Nov 1853. My Great-Grandfather Henry Clay Coats b 1850 Rocky Fork, Boone, MO d 26 Feb 1899 Sturgeon, Boone, MO, m Mary Ann Cornelison 25 Feb 1876, Father James Coats, mother Sarah Elizabeth Noe. Note that there are spouses named Stice. Two Henrys but no Martha. My Coats came from NC after 1801 to KY and were there until after 1818 and maybe until about 1828 then moved to Boone Co., MO.
