I am searching for Charles Coats and his wife Mary. Charles was born abt 1834. I searched thru census records and found Charles Coats with wife Mary in Smyrna, Chenango county, NY in the 1870 census age 37 with children Pearl age 4, and Frank age 2. Then in 1860 Charles was in Sherburne, Chenango county, NY age 26, with wife Mary. These dates match up with mine. Does anybody out there have any more info on Charles and Mary?
