Debbie, I am also descended from this COATS line. Richard was a brother to my gggrandfather Henry Armstead. They are descended from Armstead and Nancy Brown COATS. Richard was one of 7 children and the only one who settled somewhere else besides Weakley County, TN. I have quite a bit of info on this family.
