Brickwall--Almon (Almond) Coats (Coates), found in Friendship, Allegany Co., NY in 1840 Census. Married Nancy Clark in 1840 at Allegany Co. Both found 1850, OH, then on to McHenry and Kane Co., IL, before Civil War. Later family found in NE and MN. Almon died, in Memphis, TN (?) after Civil War. Looking for parents and siblings, of this illusive fellow. Help!
