Well, I'm getting close to getting these...<g>.... I've made phone contact with the GA State Archive and have a few more hoops to jump through to get some microfilm out of Jefferson County, GA....other counties will be forth coming as well.... Apparently like VA you have to have the probate court clerks permission to buy microfilm from the GA state archive...why is beyond me...I mean the 1700s precludes anyone still living...<g>...they're sending more info via snail mail.... I don't think I need do this for the deed records...so those may come first... Whew, this has taken forever to even get the info....that's probably why you don't see much info on GA...what a hassle....
