    3. I think this was in reference to deed records...apparently the PA Archive has microfilm of county records i.e. deeds however, they will not make copies of the microfilm...so I'm trying to locate another source? anyway, PA and NJ are just really frustrating to work with to say the least...I saw on another list where the LDS is at the Philly City Archive doing filming this week...but the person also said, the microfilm at the city archive is so old it's starting to just crumble...another reason for copies of these records...otherwise as noted below they'll get buried so deep we'll never find them...Char ----- Original Message ----- From: Ward.Childs@phila.gov Sent: Thursday, February 15, 2001 10:06 AM To: Coats@hotmail.com Subject: Microfilm Dear Ms. Coats: In reply to your e mail please be advised that the Department of Records no longer has an inhouse microfilm unit. Copies of any of our films would have to be made from the masters which are stored at National Undergroung Storage. To obtain permission to request copies of any films I suggest thet you contact Jeanne Reedy, Administrative Services Director, Department of Records, Room 156 City Hall, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
