In Missouri he lived in Mississippi Co. at least from the birth of his first child in 1892 until his death in 1934. Mississippi Co. is located just north of the bootheel section of the state. The eastern boundary is the Mississippi River. Southern tip of Illinois and Kentucky are across the River from Mississippi Co. Tennessee is just a few miles south of Mississippi County, on the eastern side of the Mississippi River. Callaway Co. is west of St. Louis, north of the Missouri River and more toward the center of the state. Henry and Johnson are on the west central side of the state with Henry joining Johnson on the northern border. It does not seem a logical move from those counties to Mississippi Co. However, it is an easy route from the western side of Tennessee. Early settlement was mostly from Kentucky, TN, and AR.
