Charlotte; Interesting. When I started research in 1992, I went to PHL and visited. They had seven (7) files on the Coats-Coates family. I made some copies, some of which I sent to Linda. Some people I've talked to have said some papers have disapeared over the years. I'm sure any serious Coats researcher would find papers of interest there.
