Also, I heard from an Abernathy researcher who was going to Newberry County, SC on a research trip...she told me that the Bush River Baptist Church secretary she had contacted said they had the old church records...not sure how old but she was going to get there to look at them...also she was going to try and find the old Quaker buring ground around Scotts Creek and the Bush River area...haven't heard back from her yet...<g>...
