haven't found any Coats wills here yet...but I did find what appears to be a George Coote in 1824 that appears to have been a commissioner of the Laurens Court...but there is also another microfilm for Laurens yet to come... I'm thinking of all those kids that John Coats, sr. had and the only one we know for sure was John jr. and possibly a Samuel...at least one daughter still living at home in 1826...
