Found another or I think it is a John Coats who was a purchaser at a Pinson's estate sale in Lauren's County...dated 1803...seems to me Pinson is a name associated somewhere with Coats...anyway it looks like whoever wrote the record couldn't decide if it should be Coat, Coate or Coats...so it's kinda hard to figure out...but I'm pretty sure it's John Coat at least...this microfilm is pretty bad, the books must have been really tightly bound because the info runs into the center crease....
