One other thing...we also have documentation that John Coats in Logan County KY is the same John Coats that gives the power of attorney for the sale of land in Kershaw County SC...now is this John Coats wife Ann Dunnigan, he was suppose to have gone through Knox or McMinn County TN...if he did there is no record of him there...but we have a solid documented record of a John Coats in Logan County KY with a connection to Chester/Kershaw County...so one could conclude that John Coats wife Ann Dunnigan is the John in Logan County KY passing through maybe Knox or McMinn Counties in TN but I suspect you'll spend a ton of time trying to find documentation of that... I have an old history that shows Sylvester Baker as Ann Baker Coats father, with documentation we've disproven that, her ather was John Baker out of Wilson County TN...so it can be done...but it takes a lot of digging... The other problem is that so many of these birth dates are just plain guesses or estimates...
