Hi Listers, New subscriber so thought I would state main interest on Coates. Looking for any details on Thomas Coates {my 3xg grandfather} who was born circa 1774, I believe in the Avening or Chedworth areas of Gloucestershire but could be way off mark of course....He married a Maria. Their son George {my 2xg grandfather}, was born ca1815 and married a Hannah Hobbs on 24th July 1837 in Avening, their son Job(e) moved to Ullenwood & Cobberley areas of Gloucestershire in the late 1850s.
