Well, indexing some of those records tonight I found either an August 5 or 8th entry for those Council Minutes, it was smudged so I didn't catch it...but there doesn't appear to be in entry in there for either William Coate or Edward Seaborn...but it also seems to me that Edward Seaborn had requested another petition...but I'm still studing these records... It appears on William's plat that it was certified August 5th, 1766 but there is also another 1767 date there...which could be when the grant was entered, I don't think we have that yet...
