I would never have made the connections without you. In the past two months there have been more cousin connections made and I'm still searching for known cousins. My mother was Eva "Joy" Adaline Coate (m "Joe" McMillan)b 1920 Sardis, Pushmataha Co, OK, d 1992 Heavener, LeFlore Co, OK. She was the dau of Charles Abbott Coate (m Matilda Frances Woolsey), b 1871 Arkansas Co, AR, d 1954 Hassyampa(Buckeye), Maricopa Co, AZ. 2. Charles was the son of Jesse Lovelace Coate (m Isabel Clampett Evans Bunyard)b 1840 AL, d abt 1879 Rains Co, TX. Jesse was the son of Marmaduke "Duke" Coate (m (1)Mary Coate, (2nd ours) Nancy Rotton)b 1789 SC, d aft 1860 Clark Co, AL. 3. Marmaduke "Duke" was the son of "LittleJohn" Coate (m Susannah Ennis) b abt 1740 NJ, d 1802 SC. So--our known descent is from "Little" and Susannah.
