Thought it just might be one of yours. Maxine Coats, Homer Tipton Southern Standard Warren co., TN, Jan. 20, 1950 pg. 11 Homer Tipton Coats, 85-year-old retired farmer, died at his home at Smartts January 6 after an illness of a week. The deceased, native of Kirklin county, Indiana, was born November 22, 1864 and was a son of Elijah Coats and Rachel Pursefull Coats. He was married to Miss Mary Rayburn, who survives, and was a member of the Methodist Church. Besides his wife, Mr. Coats is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eda M.
