Gup A very useful publication of the Bureau of the Census, Measuring America, The Decennial Censuses, 1790-2000, is available online at: http://www.census.gov/prod/www/abs/ma.html This book (online in seven parts) contains population census forms and instructions to the census enumerators for censuses from 1790-2000. I have found the printed copy very useful, too.
