Hi everyone. I finally got an update to our Coates DNA page. We have some interesting new additions. Check the Robert Coates of Lynn, Mass. and the Wiley Coates groups. If you have a kit number up, would you please check your kit link to see that it contains the information you wanted. Does anyone have evidence that Needham Coats, b. 1831 in Tennessee and Thomas Benton Coats, b. 1838 in Tennessee are brothers. They have an exact DNA match and were cousins for sure. Thomas Benton Coats was my 2nd Gr-grandfather...but it must be another Thomas than the one you are referring to. What is the name of your Thomas' father?
