You know folks....this Henry Coats m to a Mary deed seems to have been looked over by a lot of early researchers...just like so many other Coats in the SC area...I still can't get over the fact that Charles Coats was a rather prominent person in Newberry SC yet not one even mentions him in any of their research.... I think a lot of researchers have tried to mold the documents to their theories rather than letting the documents lead them to theories... This includes Medlin...his research doesn't appear to mention or has overlooked this Henry Coats m to Mary as well...
