    3. Problem is I just can't seem to locate that book that tells us exactly how they were all related in SC...<g>...but I'm working on it...I might see if SC has any Baptist or Quaker records on microfilm... I've started indexing Book C of the Newberry deeds...boy, the microfilm is really light...some of the deeds can't even be read from the microfilm...what a shame to see these records like this...I guess it's no wonder a lot of records never survived...but maybe we can at least make them more accessible... I also found Clement Davis deed, don't recall who he sold it to...but it shows Marm as the only adjoining land owner and says it was on Reedy Creek...it's another of those really light deeds, about the first 300 pages are really light...these are still late 1700 deeds in this book...I'll pull a lot of them i.e. if they have a Coats name in it *anywhere* and if they might tell us what happened to some of the land after the plats were surveyed etc... We really need to start on the SC Archive for audio versions of these microfilm...they're really hard on the eyes...<g>.. Char ----- Original Message ----- From: Linda J.
