I've added a few more to those maps... Also Michael Hunt's land on those Union County Historical Society maps is not in the correct place...that plat clearly shows that it borders the Bush River and one of the Adjoining land owners was William Coate...so I've put it in what I think is the correct area...although...there might be some take as to where on the Bush River that whole group is... There is a William, James and John in that group on the Bush River... So.....I'm just adding the info as I page one by one through those archive documents...it's a slow process...but maybe once I kinda get a feel for where there all are I can do some enlarged areas like the Scotts creek area and add what Mottes has as well...I've also tried to add names to places that I find in Mottes.... And last but certainly not least...there is another Henry Coate in Laurens County SC date of 1769, he's the one that had the land next to Ann Hagen...so, we have Henry on Scotts Creek, 1765 - Henry in Laurens County, 1769, Henry on Goose Pond, Capt Henry Coates and the land records I have for him in 1818 places him on the Saluda River in 1818 adjoining Benjamin Long...and Henry that married Mary adjoining Little John Coats' land...also I think it is Summers that names Capt Henry Coate as the son of Little John, not sure of that...but I've not seen anything that says Henry had three or a first wife named Mary...his second wife is always called Polly and her sister was his first wife, Elizabeth or Priscilla I think it was...
