I need your help. I have a very big conflict of information on the parentage of a one JACOB CLOUSE who was born c1805 in Washington County, Tennessee and married to SARAH TILSON. One reliable source shows his parents to be GEORGE WASHINGTON CLOUSE, SR. & ELIZABETH JARVIS. The other reliable source is a book written by Della P. Franklin "Book of Remembrance of the Clouse Clan" that shows his parents to be WILLIAM CLOUSE, SR. & ELIZABETH LOUDERMILKE. I am in a quandry as to how to straighten this out. Can anyone be of help?
