My husband's Clouse line was in TN pretty early-late 1700s or so. They settled in the Sparta area (White and Putnam counties). His direct line (Isaac Wesley "Gus" Clouse) left TN for Fannin County TX in the late 1880s. His sons went to OK Territory possibly during the Land Runs, or shortly thereafter.
