    3. I am researching Clouse lines in Ohio. I am wondering if all these Clouse's are connected. Where do your Clouse's originate or come from. I know that the line I am researching came from Alsace-Lorraine originally. I keep coming to a dead end with them. I know there were in Franklin County, Ohio in 1850 and then our ancestor went on to Dubuque County, Iowa and settled there and raised a family. Any help would be grately appreciated. Sorry to bud in to the TN, KY line but thinking maybe they may be connected somehow. 3. My husband's Clouse line can be traced back to George Clouse, born about 1740 unknown location, possibly VA, died 1810 at Greasy Cove, Washington County TN. Some of his children were in White County TN by the early 1800s. I have read that there is a possible connection between the Ohio and Tennessee Clouse lines, but I don't have any help for you in that respect, sorry. I have only been able to connect George to our present day Clouse line through the TN>TX>OK>CA line. Meg Gentry Bookout Judy Klous wrote: > I am researching Clouse lines in Ohio.
