I am a descendant of Dudley Mansfield Clouse. He was the son of William Riley Clouse who was the son of Thomas J. Clouse (b ca 1801) who was the son of John D. Hi Sheila! My husband is your 4th cousin. He is the grandson of Fred Clouse, who was the s/o Isaac Wesley "Gus" Clouse, who was the s/o of John Clouse, who was your William Riley Clouse's brother. I have a picture of Fred, but none further back up the line. Fred's dad (Gus) left TN to go to TX and lost touch with that side of the family. Gus died in OK in 1908 and Fred moved to the Sapulpa area (near Tulsa) where his daughter (my husband's mom) was born in 1919. Another family connection is through the Randolph line-Dudley's mom was Lucilla Randolph, and my husband has Randolphs from White County in hus ancestry, too. His 2nd g-grandma was Elizabeth Randolph who married GW Barger. Their daughter Margaret Malinda Barger married Gus Clouse in 1878 in White Co TN.
