It is odd the similarities of your family to mine. For instance my Leonard Clouse b. ca 1760 Sussex Co - ends up in Morris Co & is right age to be a bro of your Jacob; Leonard's first son is Jacob, b. 1787 Morris Co.; another son is John, b. ca 1799. I have been unsuccessful in finding out who Leonard's parents were - I take it you have not found your Jacob's parents? Leonard and family, however, emigrated ca 1800 to Long Point Settlement in Norfolk Co Ontario and as far as I know none stayed behind. There are other trees out there on John & Temperance, but I couldn't tell you know where I've seen them. Michael Clouse in Michigan
