I have a widowed Sarah Clouse, b. 1831, my great-great-grandmother, living in Philadelphia in 1880, together with three daughters, Sarah, Mima, Eva, daughter Sarah's husband, and young son, on East LeHigh Ave. Mother Sarah's own mother had been born in Germany, but Sarah and her father, as well as her unknown deceased husband, all were born in Pennsylvania. A 1900 census record indicates that mother Sarah had four children surviving out of eight. Daughters Mima and Sarah were definitely alive in 1900. I have not identified the remaining surviving children.
