Howdy Clouse kin- I found this 1860 census for Putnam County TN, and I am puzzled. I know that Thomas Clouse (b abt 1801 d 1872) had a few wives, and my husband's Clouse line is from John Clouse born February 1827, s/o (I think) Thomas' first wife Susan Julian, but when I saw this census, some of the kids are John's siblings (Elijah C), and some I don't have record of (the younger ones) and then I have a complete new family for Thomas with his marriage to Margaret Eller in 1861.
