Clouse, who appears to be from TN. They married 1896 in Jackson Co AL and were listed in the 1900 census: Whitecotton, Monroe age 74 b Oct 1825 AL husband Whitecotton, Nania (sp?) E age 40 b Apr 1860 TN wife Clouse, Mary A age 21 b June 1873 TN step daughter Clouse Della J age 14 b Aug 1885 TN step daughter Clouse, Columbus age 12 b July 1887 TN stepson Clouse, Charles L age 11 b Apr 1889 TN stepson Clouse, Monroe age 7 b Jan 1893 AL stepson Obviously Nancy E Clouse was married previously in TN.
