I descend from Henry George Clouse, born 29 Jan 1811 in Claiborne Co., TN. I have lots of his descendants, if anyone is interested. My line is Henry George, his son George Henry Clouse born May 29, 1856; Elizabeth Clouse born Aug 5, 1885 in Stewartsville, MO; Roy Belden born May 25, 1904 in Hatsfield, MO (my father). My husband's mother is Omia Elizabeth Clouse, born in 1919 in Sapulpa OK. Her father was Fred Clouse, born in TN in 1884. His father, Isaac Wesley (Gus) Clouse moved the family from White County TN before 1890 to Fannin County TX. His father was John (Jobe) Clouse, born 1827 in White Co TN. Fred always said he missed his grandfather Clouse after they moved to TX never to return home to TN. There were/are TONS of Clouses in White Co TN-anybody else researching these lines? Another family name is Bumbalough/Brumbalough-Jobe was married to Mahala (Hallie) Bumbalough. There are a bunch of Clouse and Bumbalough cemeteries in the area, too.
