Linda, There are NO attachments with any email from any of the rootsweb email lists. If you are getting an attachment from the CLOUD-L or CLOUD-D (digest) list, then it is a fake and you should delete it immediately. That is an advantage of the rootsweb lists ... - no possibility of receiving any virus through the rootsweb list ... only pure text allowed (prevents macro viruses) ... no attachments allowed (prevents anything else) The only way you could be exposed to a virus is if someone puts a link to a web site that exposes you to a virus -- and that won't be from rootsweb. sincerely, Tom Cloud administrator CLOUD list
