    3. Betsy -- you may have a virus. This is one of about a dozen identical e-mails I have received from you. 3. Harry et al, I apologize -- as administrator of the list I could have put a stop to this, but I was unable to get online for several days. Betsy implemented a normal and thoughtful automatic reply to emails stating that she was out of town. But this causes havoc with automated-responding lists like this one. Her email program replied to a post from the Cloud-L list .... the Cloud-L list program broadcast her computer's reply -- including back to her -- and there began a loop .... her computer sent out the vacation message, the Cloud-L computer broadcast it back to her and her computer sent another .... ad infinitum. My only option would have been to unsubscribe her from the list, but I was unable to get on-line to do so. .... sorry. It is possible the rootsweb email server software detected her automatic replies and unsubscribed her for me .... else I can't see why this loop isn't still continuing. (Betsy, if you've been unsubscribed, please sign back up again.) At 02:31 PM 7/30/2003, Harry Hogan <[email protected]> wrote: >Betsy -- you may have a virus.
