Cloud was Justice of the Peace in AL. 1840-50 federal Census places him in Farmersville Union Parish LA. 1851 he and family were in Williamson Co. TX. 1860 William A. Cloud was a Justice of the Peace for Williamson Co. TX. On the 1850 LA Federal census William A. Cloud is listed as William L. Cloud, 40 years of age given.
